It is recommended soaking the mat in a tub by warm water for 10 minutes prior to your first use to make the bath mat unfold. The suction cups hold it securely in place, so I don’t have to worry about it sliding around while I’m showering. It gives me much more confidence, especially on wet surfaces.I also like that it’s extra long, covers more of the tub than standard mats, and has plenty of drainage holes so water doesn’t pool underneath. When it’s time to clean it, I just toss it in the washing machine and it’s ready to go again. If you’re looking for a comfortable, non-slip bath mat that stays put and adds an extra layer of safety, this one is absolutely worth it. Simple, effective, and exactly what I was looking for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good non slip pad *by on Reviewed in the United States June 7, 2026* We purchased this mat to make showering safer when my mother visits, and it has worked very well. The suction cups hold it securely in place, and although it took a little effort to get the edge near the drain to lie flat, it settled after a few adjustments. Most importantly, it has made the shower floor much less slippery and has helped my mother feel secure and confident while showering. After three successful, non-slip showers, she is very pleased with it, and we are happy with the added safety it provides.Pros* Provides excellent traction and significantly reduces the slipperiness of the shower floor.* Helps my mom feel more stable and confident while showering.* Suction cups on the underside keep the mat securely in place.* Fits well in the shower without needing to be trimmed or adjusted.* Once pressed down, and positioned, it stays flat and performs as expected.* Has been successful through multiple showers with no slipping issues.Cons - these are minor* Required some initial adjustment to get it to lay completely flat, especially near the drain area.* Needed a few attempts and some water to help the edges settle properly.* May take a little extra time during installation compared to simply placing it on the shower floor. All in all great product for the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great color *by on Reviewed in the United States August 3, 2026* Good mail wrapping to insure it’s not damaged. Useful directions that made sense. When unfolding the back did not want to stay down, would suggest putting something heavy on the back for a few minutes to force it down . Kept in place -did not move and very secure ## Frequently Bought Together - TEESHLY Bath Tub and Shower Mats, Non Slip 40 x 16 Inch Extra Large Bathtub Mat, Machine Washable Bathmat with Drain Holes, Suction Cups for Bathroom Floor, Gray - EHZNZIE Clear Shower Curtain Liner Light Weight PEVA, Shower Liner 72x72 Inches, Waterproof, No Chemical Smell with 12 Rust Proof Metal Grommets for Bathroom Shower Curtain - Mrs Awesome Clear Shower Curtain Liner with 3 Magnets, 72x72 Premium Flexible Sturdy Plastic Shower Curtain for Bathroom Lightweight, Waterproof, Clear --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/577738485-teeshly-bath-tub-and-shower-mats-non-slip-40-x](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/577738485-teeshly-bath-tub-and-shower-mats-non-slip-40-x) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
