But since I bought this desktop, ATA drives as I knew them have become pretty much obsolete. As one little s*** salesman at a well-known bricks-and-mortar computer store told me, "Times change, sir". F*** him. The one place I knew I'd be able to find a compatible hard drive was online, on desertcart. And sure enough, they came through. It installed right in place of my old drive (I didn't even have to reposition the jumpers), and now my old G4 FLIES. It laughs at Illustrator and Photoshop.
