Review: Small folding crates - These are a small in size, but are perfect for a lot of uses. We keep in the back of our car to put grocery bags in. They can hold two or three bags or two 6 pack of soft drinks. Easy to carry into the house. Store nicely in the car. We bought 4 crates which is perfect for our car. Get a lot of likes when people see these. They are very sturdy. Great to carry camping goods in as well and who knows what else. Highly recommend. UPDATE: I see a lot of complaints from people about how they collapse. Yes they do, but if you snap the sides into place they will not collapse. We have carried groceries in these and have had absolutely no problems carrying heavy items such as milk or other liquids if loaded properly. Very sturdy when sides are snapped into place.

A: Yes they are. They are not super secure but they will stay together under normal conditions

A: Yes

A: The crates do not have a small lip or rail at top to secure hanging folders, which might impact whether the hanging folder will slide and move easily, but depending on the folder size the hanging folder can be supported on sides of the container.

These are smaller than they look in the photos so definitely check the dimensions before you order. Once you snap the sides into place though they hold weight really well and I have not had one collapse on me yet. Super handy for organizing the trunk of my car and they fold flat when I do not need them which is the whole point.
