Forms a transparent layer strong enough to fight moisture and stains while allowing steam to release. The 511 impregnator will not alter the natural appearance of the surface after application. Provides water stain and slip protection for interior and exterior tiles and natural stone surfaces. Treated surfaces become harder and less slippery. Review: Stops the grout absorbing water in our shower - Used to waterproof the cement grout in our shower. In hindsight I should have used epoxy grout but the mrs wanted the colour matched grout with the tiles. It’s easy to apply, I used a paint brush and liberally put it on all the grout joints. When you dry it off with a microfibre cloth you can’t really wash it out, so end up throwing away the cloth after you’re done, but this isn’t the end of the world. It stops the grout from chasing colour from splashes from the shower so I have to assume it’s working. Straight after use you can see the water beading up on the tiles, but this washes off after a few days. The grout will have absorbed it so should last much longer as it’s not just a surface coating. I’m expecting to have to apply it every 6 months or so to keep up the waterproofing. Bottle allowed me to cover all the tiles in the photo with a generous amount, twice over. Bath is 170cm long. Review: Marble Sealer - Wow, I followed the instructions and applied a coat of this sealer to a brand new marble chopping/pastry board, I let it completely dry and then added a second coat. After it had dried again, I poured a little water onto the marble, it was sealed completely. Marble is very porous and without sealing will absorb most liquids and leave behind an unwanted stain, now I am confident as can be that any spillages will just sit on top and wipe away with ease.
