I'm using the last of a can I've had for years!** A: If you input B000TAUOKM you should get a listing for the liquid, not the wadding. **Q: what does wadding mean?** A: Cottton wadding is just that, a long rope of cotton in (what appears to be) it's natural form. You reach into the container and tear off a piece of the wadding for use. This will NOT look like the cotton balls in your bathroom. The cotton is impregnated with the magic of Silvo. This product is superb for removing spots, stains (black marks, water marks), and tarnish from your silver treasures. I've used it on both Sterling and silver plate with excellent results on both. I will caution you to be more gentle on silver plate as this will rub off the silver if you rub with too much pressure for an extended amount of time. Don't worrry though, it will not remove the silver plate for everyday cleaning and use. If you have silver that is heavily tarnished this works wonderfully. If the silver has imperfections like old black marks/stains, this will remove them. **Q: Is this safe on polished nickel?** A: Ir works very well with nickel and silver plated brass **Q: I want the liquid silvo. does anybody in the us sell it?** A: Sorry I don’t use the liquid silvo. The one that I use is just perfect no need for liquid to my opinion. ## Frequently Bought Together - Silvo Tarnish Guard Metal Polish Wadding I All Purpose Metal Polish – for Silver, Gold, Aluminium, Chrome & Electroplate I Size: 75g (Pack of 3) - Brasso-2660089334 Multi-Purpose Metal Polish, 8 oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/570921454-tarnish-guard-metal-polish-wadding-i-all-purpose-metal-polish](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/570921454-tarnish-guard-metal-polish-wadding-i-all-purpose-metal-polish) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
