It's hard, "scrubby" and it dries quickly. **Q: Are these biodegradable/compostable?** A: The scrub is not compostable as it has a non-toxic resin hardener on it. They use the thread leftovers ( which would ordinarily be thrown away) from the towel industry to make them.
