I generally paint paint on canvas but have painted ceramic with it too. **Q: Is this product is also used for the nails? ...for nail art?** A: I used to do elaborate decorative painting on my fingernails with acrylic paint. It works great. You can do some really cool things with it that you can't do with nail polish. Just cover with a couple coats of clear nail polish (Crystal Alford). **Q: How many square feet of wood will this paint?** A: depends if you prime the wood with a latex based paint first. i paint on wood. wood absorbs a lot of water and swells so uses a lot of pain... the solution is to prime the wood with some latex primer you can get at your hardware store. a thin layer keeps the texture of the wood while sealing the wood so you can pain with acrylics. i like to keep the wood texture but prime it so that i can paint as if it were a non pourous surface. that's what i'd advise... prime with latex paint, then paint with acrylic thinning to no more than 30% water. which is what acrylic is meant to work as... ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great buy! *by J***R on April 28, 2025* You can never have enough!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love the paint, hate getting it in a cracked jar *by T***D on May 7, 2022* Very decent paint for beginners and pros alike. However, it's a good thing I kept my previous jar of white paint. When this current order arrived, while being well wrapped was leaking paint. I had plenty left over and I've been using it since, although I use the pricier paints for my colors. For whites for mixing this is perfect. I paint sometimes multiple pieces per week. I often use a LOT of white to mix or on its own.
