It has a clean, compact look with an elegant and modern design that fits nicely in the room. The dimmer function is very useful β€” the display is easy to see during the day and not too bright at night. I also really like that it shows both Fahrenheit and Celsius temperatures, which is very convenient. The numbers are large and easy to read, even from a distance. The setup instructions for the time and alarm are simple, clear, and easy to follow. Overall, it is practical, user-friendly, and looks great. Review: Great clock! - Finally- a clock that dims down to zero. I dont want a clock in my bedroom that lights up the room. Many come with a few discrete settings, all of which are too bright. This clock has a large, easy to read display that you can continuously dim to black, I love it. It doesnt auto-dim at night, and i dont care. The display shows thru the faux-walnut case which is pretty well made (contrary to at least one review). The wood grain is very realistic, with no visible seams and the triangular shape is very stable on a nightstand. There is an older-style USB A port on the back for phone charging. A very decent clock for $20 ## Features - Easy to Read Large Big Numbers: DreamSky large wooden alarm clock displays time, date and day of week, temperature on large display which is easy to see from distance. - 0-100% Adjustable Brightness: the display brightness of this bedroom alarm clock is 0-100% dimmable and you can set the brightness level from totally dark to very bright so it's not glaring at night but still clear during the day, nice for bedroom nightstand. I dont want a clock in my bedroom that lights up the room. Many come with a few discrete settings, all of which are too bright. This clock has a large, easy to read display that you can continuously dim to black, I love it. It doesnt auto-dim at night, and i dont care. A very decent clock for $20 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Desk Clock - Actual Measurements Included *by A***C on June 6, 2026* 6/06/2026 One thing that always annnoys me is when reviewers never show the actual size of a product. Photos and item descriptions can be misleading, so I measured mine: β€’ Width: 6.2 inches β€’ Height: 3 inches β€’ Depth: 3.4 inches Pros: β€’ Large, easy to read display β€’ Shows time, date, day, temperature, and DST status β€’ Excellent brightness adjustment from very dim to very bright β€’ Dedicated alarm volume control β€’ Compact footprint β€’ Auto DST support β€’ USB charging port β€’ Clean wood-grain design Cons: β€’ Temperature reading is only for the area around the clock (no way to turn it off) β€’ Faux wood finish (nitpicking tbh hehe) β€’ No major complaints so far β€’ USB A charging port is not fast charging. (I bought the thing. It works. I like it. I'm struggling to find anything wrong with it so far) I bought this for my desk because I wanted something easy to read without taking up much space, and it fits perfectly under my monitor shelf. The display shows the time, date, day of the week, temperature, and DST status. Everything is large and easy to read from across the room. My favorite feature is the dimmer wheel. It offers very precise brightness control, from barely visible in a dark room to extremely bright during the day, with lots of adjustment in between. The alarm volume also has its own adjustment wheel. Other nice features include Auto DST, 12 or 24 hour clock mode, Fahrenheit/Celsius selection, USB charging port, and battery backup. Overall, a great looking clock that's compact, easy to read, and packed with useflu features. I will update this review if anything comes up. ## Frequently Bought Together - DreamSky Digital Alarm Clocks for Bedrooms - Wooden Desk Clock with Date, Day of Week, USB Port, Temperature, Dimmer for Bedside Table, Living Room, Office, Adjustable Volume, Auto DST, Wood Decor - Vtopmart 25 PCS Clear Plastic Drawer Organizers Set, 4-Size Versatile Bathroom and Vanity Drawer Organizer Trays, Storage Bins for Makeup, Bedroom, Kitchen Gadgets Utensils and Office --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/566762470-dreamsky-digital-alarm-clock-for-bedrooms-wooden-desk-clock-date](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/566762470-dreamsky-digital-alarm-clock-for-bedrooms-wooden-desk-clock-date) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
