It is either plugged in or not. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great with existing brand plate *by P***B on March 12, 2025* I had been gifted the low tech heat it somewhere else branding iron. It took forever to heat and was almost impossible to get it right for the different wood species. The brand part had 8MM threaded hole, so I took a chance and bought just the iron part. It heated up in 4-5 minutes and let off some smoke, it is a metal heating element that came from a manufacturing process, so I was OK with the smell and smoke, it's normal. Worked perfectly after I added a large washer between the iron and brand because there was a 2MM gap. After that it functioned flawlessly.
