He wanted a chord free headset for use at his computer over his gaming headphones and his desertcart echo earbuds and I already have a pair of these from 2 years ago so I had him test mine out and he loves his pair! The AirPods gen 2 did that for me, then the AirPods Pro 2 did it again, and now these are doing the same. - Electronic music sounds absolutely amazing. My ex likes to sing at the top of his lungs. Have to make sure I can’t hear him....** A: I’m guessing the exes sharing a domicile are from California; no matter the volume of the singing (or screaming) no one can afford another place to live. This is when headphones become a necessity rather than a luxury. I love my Beats, and am on my second pair, shopping for a 3rd (in 6.5 years). The first pair were destroyed when a rogue wave crashed over a wall I was walking along and drenched me (no joke). The Beats, like Gremlins, do not like water. I’ve had my second pair for 2+ years. They have suffered extreme abuse— I wear them ALL THE TIME, even to bed. I drop them on hard surfaces at least 5x a week. The last drop bike something in the arm so they no longer “cling” to my right ear. Cheaper to replace than to repair, sadly. Tip— I replace the cushions with “Wicked” brand cushions, $20 and their like brand new. I’ve replaced cushions maybe 4 times. They are definitely NOT 100% noise canceling. Here is an example-I was walking one day and it began to rain out of nowhere. I stepped into a neighbor’s carport (imagine 2 parking spots with 2 story apartment on top. I was wearing my Beats listing to a book when I heard what sounded like a police car speaker instructing a driver to pull over, that type of sound. I could not make out words. When I removed Beats I heard “PLEASE LEAVE MY GARAGE IMMEDIATELY” through a Ring-type security speaker. So… you can hear something is being said if loud enough, but not what is being said. These are a great purchase esp at $115, but if you’re looking for complete noise cancellation I recommend Sony or Bose. **Q: Will thes work with a galaxy phone? or any android phone?** A: They work with any Bluetooth device. **Q: how is the quality of the mic** A: Fabulous!!! Unless you have them backwards then it sounds like your in a can. Cons: First use pain but adjusts over time, stocked ear muff. I'm a long time beats fan. I needed a new replacement solo 3s since my old ones broke. These headphones are absolutely amazing!!! I would 100% recommend them. They're really loud, great sounding bass, and semi noise canceling. The quality on them is ok it's not bad I recommend replacing the ear muffs first they start to crinkle up after a 2 months. Durability wise they last for quite a while I've had mine for over 4 years and they are still working well and good shape and ionquality and still sound just as they was when I brought them. The beats charge really fast as well, they last for 48hrs, I use my beats for a whole day and it never goes pass the 3 light bar. I love the color the sleek black is stylish. They do squeeze your head when you first get them but you have to break them in for a while to get used to them.
