Review: good product ,recommended! - A good product ,easy to use ,personally I used this silicone for touch up around my sink in the kitchen and I'm happy with the result, needs to apply on a dry surface ,let it set and dry at least a couple of hours I let mine overnight, has a very strong smell but I guess is normal the smell disappear the next day .For a perfect finish I used my index finger to apply around the edges and cornets or use a cloths as well.Once finished looks very good. There's a risk the acid may cause staining - you may be better off using a neutral cure silicone - and check the application with the manufacturer, and that any plasticisers in the sealant won't bleed over time. **Q: Hi there if just used a sovereign sealant ,very sticky and very hard to use .Is this the same** A: I found this easy to use - when applied, it is quite thick but pliable & is easily moulded, dries reasonably quickly. I used masking tape to get a nice straight edge to this sealant & an old credit card to "push" the sealant into the gap being filled. It is pretty messy to use though & needs to be worked quickly. **Q: Will it seal between shower board and bath** A: Yes it will do the job. **Q: Can you paint over it ?** A: I should imagine that you should be able to paint over it with acrylic paint. Depends on how you are using it.
