First I soaked them in soapy hot water for 1 hour and then removed stray hairs. I used it to blend oil paint straight out of the tube and it worked really well. It even dragged through the thick cad red without shedding. It’s been a while since I’ve been looking for a goat hair blending brush and this is a high ranking blending brush! If the makers are reading this, please consider making a set of FOLIAGE brushes and set of liner brush with VERY STIFF bristle for oil paint like Bob Ross uses. Don’t care about price. These are primordial brushes I can’t find on Amazon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good value *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 7 April 2025* These brushes are very good value and the bristles do not shed. I have used them to get soft looks with acrylic paint.
