He has a 20' leash and a 100' run, so he really gets going and this roller unit holds up ok. Aluminum pully is softer than the steel cable, so we do have to replace it about 2x per year. Hoping the mfg has replacement pulleys so we don't have to purchase complete unit. There is no ball bearing in center of the pulley either, so bushing wears out along with the steel cable wearing down the aluminum pully even with regular oiling.
