**Q: Why was there so much packaging for this item?**
A: Presumably to ensure it isn't damaged in transit

A: Width 22cm, depth 19cm

**Q: What is the depth of the 90 cm planter (ie base back to front)?**
A: I would guess its about 150mm deep and 140mm wide

**Q: I am looking for a plastic insert into a wooden tub i am making.  dimensions  are approx. 33" (l) x 9" (w) x 7" (d).  i will be needing about 10.**
A: Have not purchased this item. Digging around on the web can confirm that dimensions of Stewart Planter Pot 2064005 are 80x17x18 cm (LxWxH).

I'm going through a creative phase and making my own little flowerpot people so I wanted something for them to sit in and this was perfect. It's very sturdy, tough plastic and Unfortunately, I won't be able to comment properly on the actual planting aspect that I presume that most people buy it fo, but it is a good size and deep enough to get a good cover of soil and also fit five standard pots in!
