People still comment on how well it glows, even though I do nothing special to expose it to light. I continue to be delighted by how attractive it is and the the safety it provides. I applied the Purple Octopus Glow in the Dark Tape around the steps of a metal step stool used for public star parties, allowing children to reach the eyepiece of my telescope without mom or dad having to hold them up. The tape has stuck for six or seven years now, through the heat in my car, the cold of winter nights, the silty dust at a local campground, and getting banged around during packing and unpacking. People still comment on how well it glows, even though I do nothing special to expose it to light. I continue to be delighted by how attractive it is and the the safety it provides. I looked at reviews on other tape and wasn't impressed. I liked the reviews on this tape and willing to try it. I liked the adhesion and glow at night. The glow is not real bright but just bright enough to do the job. I put small pieces on the end of every light switch in every room. It works enough to see the switch. This is another way to see the switch other than installing lighted switches in, cheaper too. I put it on my TV remotes and house key. It comes with some arrows and stars. My wife said you are not putting the arrows on my light switches, too tacky. Lol You can't see the small tape on the ends! HAH!
