Do not worry about temperatures, on a road car the calipers never heat above 100C, while a thin layer of this paint is very resilient to higher temperatures due to the aluminium powder. Very small amout is used, about 10% of the tin. The paint dries fast, as it was sunshine and wind yesterday. The smell is fine, much better than spray paints, but I would use it outside only to avoid headache.
