This hand grip gives my longish fingers a good grip on the camera, and makes the thumb depression built into the back case of the camera much more usable. It gives full access to the SD card slot and the Battery in the bottom but protects the bottom from scratching and makes the camera sit up on its base on a flat surface and not sit on the lens. All in all, given the pricing for similar items, and for Leica branded accessories(astronomical) this is an incredible value. If you have a Q3, buy it and try it. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Review: Perfectly functional hand grip for the Q3 - I'm a long-time JJC products user and I was pleased when I saw they offered a hand grip for the Q3. The grip is well made and is sturdy. It really helps with the ergonomics and to feel assured when you're holding the camera in hand. One key thing I appreciate is the cutout around the SD card panel. I had a half-case that I also bought and tried out. But the problem was the half-case's cut out made it nearly impossible to remove the SD card from the slot. However, in the case of the JJC hand grip, that's not a problem at all. Removing the battery works fine as well. For the money, the JJC hand grip is the best one available. ## Features - Made of premium aluminium alloy and microfiber leather - Provides a comfortable, stable and secure grip for long time usage - Can be used on universal tripod as it is dovetail QR baseplate(arca-swiss type) with an extra 1/4"-20 screw hole for universal tripod plate - Does not block the battery and memory access, it allows you access the battery and memory without taking it off - An extra hole on the right side of baseplate allow you put on a hand strap to your camera as well - A must have accessory for anyone with medium, large and up size hands or those who worry about dropping these expensive cameras ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CGHP2C5P | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,686 in Camera Mounts & Clamps | | Brand | JJC | | Built-In Media | Metal hand grip x 1 | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Leica Q3 Camera | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 44 Reviews | | Exposure Control Type | Manual (M) | | Item Highlight | Anti-Slip Pads, Arca Swiss Quick Release Plate, 1/4"-20 Tripod Hole & Hand Strap Hole, No Effect on Battery & Card Use Item Highlight Anti-Slip Pads, Arca Swiss Quick Release Plate, 1/4"-20 Tripod Hole & Hand Strap Hole, No Effect on Battery & Card Use See more | | Item Type Name | Hand grip. | | Manufacturer | JJC | | Model Name | HG-Q3 | | Model Number | HG-Q3 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Video Capture Format | MP4 | | Video Capture Resolution | 4K (3840 x 2160) | | Viewfinder Type | Electronic viewfinder | | Warranty Description | 1 year | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** JJC - **Color:** Black - **Compatible Devices:** Leica Q3 Camera - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![JJC Metal Hand Grip Handgrip L Bracket for Leica Q3/Q3 43 Cameras - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Sm6pD+IyL.jpg) ![JJC Metal Hand Grip Handgrip L Bracket for Leica Q3/Q3 43 Cameras - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71+ILW+rjIL.jpg) ![JJC Metal Hand Grip Handgrip L Bracket for Leica Q3/Q3 43 Cameras - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71aNiEf2BnL.jpg) ![JJC Metal Hand Grip Handgrip L Bracket for Leica Q3/Q3 43 Cameras - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81uOE2k13KL.jpg) ![JJC Metal Hand Grip Handgrip L Bracket for Leica Q3/Q3 43 Cameras - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71m09VdEV-L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes the Q3 much more usable. *by J***F on July 13, 2024* The Leica Q3 is a hyper capable, super beautiful photo making machine, but can be hard to grip, particularly for folks with large, and small hands.
