Doesnt look like the jig will work for this. Is that correct?** A: I haven't tried to cut a square bottle but I don't think it would work. Genround is designed to rotate the bottle around the cutting edge so I don't see how it would cut a square bottle. But if you try it, and it works let me know. Hope this helps. **Q: Bought this 2 months ago, only today i have the chance to open the box. the unit is the 2018 version, the backstop is still t-shaped, not triangular** A: Send back **Q: I ordered and received this but its used. I payed for a new one?** A: Recheck your order papers and comment to the dealer or Amazon they are very helpful **Q: Will this cutter work on pint and quart size Mason jars?** A: I do not know, I've only used it on wine and liquor bottles. It works well on them. ## Frequently Bought Together - Genround Bottle Cutter, Upgrade 2.1 Glass Bottle Cutter Glass Cuttting Machine for Round Square and Neck Glass Cutting Tool for DIY Projects - CRL Professional Glass Cutter Oil - 4 Ounce --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/55944835-genround-bottle-cutter-upgrade-2-1-glass-bottle-cutter-glass](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/55944835-genround-bottle-cutter-upgrade-2-1-glass-bottle-cutter-glass) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
