It was from the US but I have a region free 4k blu ray player so even if it was region A it wouldn't matter. It is Universal so it's probably region free anyway. The clincher was the digital copies that came with it. I have a Movies Anywhere account and it's simple to download them and watch them on Goggle TV or YouTube.
