Review: Well made, well designed, works great! - Really well designed, well made, great instruction book, easy to set up and use. I have the sensor mounted under our deck to a beam, on the North side were it is protected from direct weather. It's about 20 ft from the main unit and the reception is great. The main unit had no trouble finding and connecting to the sensor. The display is large, bright and clear and can be easily read across the room.
Review: Really Nice Weather Station Unit - My old weather station finally gave up the ghost so I needed to order another one. After looking at several different units and reading the customer reviews I decided upon this model and I am convinced I made a good choice. The unit is very easy to set up and install and it works great. The sensor unit is very easy to install on the outside of your home using and the main screen is large enough to see all the displayed information clearly but yet it's small enough to fit nicely on the night stand in my bedroom. The main display panel is very nicely organized, displays the information clearly, has a host of control buttons on the side of the panel that allows you to control and program the functions of the unit and the color display is really nice and very effective in making the data easy to see. The sensor uses 2 AA batteries and the main display screen has a plug in chord for main power as well as accepting 2 AA batteries as a backup power source. You can use it with just the batteries if you wish to but in this mode the main screen operates at "low" light intensity level. With the power chord the screen stays fully lit up, although you can adjust this setting and lower the lighting level from "high" to "low". At the "Low" setting you can still easily see the data but it won't light up your bedroom at night when your sleeping. I haven't used the "frost" alarm or "temp" alarm as I have no need for this but if you want to you can set both of those and the unit will give off an alarm if the temp settings you programmed in are reached. The barometric pressure, the moon phase, the actual inside and outside temperature is very accurate (I compared them to other sensors that I have). It comes with 1 outside sensor but if you can order and use up to 2 more sensors for a total of 3 sensors. I have no need of another sensor but that is a nice feature to have available. I really like this unit and am very impressed with it's function, appearance and performance.

**Q: How long does the weather clock take to learn and calibrate when you use it for the first time?**
A: 1) It usually takes 7-10 days to calibrate. 2) If it is moved from one environment to another (such as bringing the sensor from outside to inside in winter), a calibration time of several hours may be required.

**Q: Is the sensor waterproof?**
A: The waterproof level of the sensor is IPX4. But we still recommend that you place it under a cover for protection, because long-term exposure to rain can easily cause internal rust and damage the parts (physical phenomenon).

**Q: The reason why the clock goes wrong automatically?**
A: The default time zone of the weather clock is PST and the DST is OFF, you only need to simply set your standard time zone and ON/OFF DST according to the instructions when you use it for the first time. Then the clock won't be wrong.

**Q: The screen goes blank for 7 minutes while the weather station is searching for a WWVB signal, is this normal?**
A: Yes. Since the WWVB signal is susceptible to interference from many factors, turning off the screen during the search can shield some interference factors.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Multi-measurement weather station for not much

I have had a few weather stations over the years, but moving into an apartment, I no longer need the full range: temperature, humidity, wind and rain. Temp and humidity is all I need now. This delivers that in an attractive package with a good, colorful screen. It also supports multiple (3) sensors though I only have one. Setup was pretty easy with one exception and there is one other slight issue that time seems to resolve. I have not been able to set up the automatic time from the NIST atomic clock. It’s supposed to start searching when you first switch the weather station on, but it never found a signal. I know this can be due to interference, but I’ve been able to do this with other devices. NBD really, it just means I have to manually set the clock. I’m not really using this device to tell the time anyway. The other slight glitch has been that the temperature displayed on the sensor and displayed on the monitor sometimes do not match. Again NBD since they are usually within a degree or so and most of the time they finally figure it out and show the same temperature. This also has indicators for whether temp and humidity are rising or falling, and a simplified weather forecasting that one has to take with a pinch of salt. Still, a good buy for the money
