Review: Best cctv we've had - Amazing cctv camera, definitely worth a 5*. We've had a few wifi cameras but this one is by far the best. And a great price for what you get. The picture quality is amazing and seems a wider angle than other cctvs. The sound is crystal clear. Connected to our wifi 6 router perfectly with no delays, unlike previous cctv we had some problems with connection. So quick and easy to set up and install. I always set up the camera indoors as so much easier and if any problems you can sort them in the comfort of indoors. Then install the camera where you would like to put it,making sure you got the view you would like. If you want 24/7 recording and playback you will need to install an sd card as the cloud only takes event recordings. It also comes with 1 month free subscription to the cloud. There's alot of settings to play around with to get the camera how you would like it. Highly recommend this camera. Great value for the money.

This is my second one as the first one was so simple to install and connect, the app allows you to have up to 36 cameras to be connected to the same device. The video quality is amazing for the price of the camera. I like all the different setting on the camera so you can focus in exactly where you want the camera to pick up any movement. You can also turn on function like person detection, Line crossed detection, camera tampering, you can also turn on a alarm which is great if you see someone on your property. The night vision is great (tip, if you are using the camera pointing out of a window turn off the night mode and then the camera will be able to see out of the glass) I like the LED functioning lights so you and others know that the camera is working. Even though the camera is not the smallest people do not notice it, so its good that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb on your property. Another tip - purchase a good quality Micro SD card as the cheap ones can sometimes cause problems with the camera unable to record. The Tapo app is so easy to use which is a big sell to me as I want to be able to see quickly what is going on outside. Ill defiantly be buying more Tapo cameras in the future.

**Q: Does this camera have zoom control?**
A: Yes you can zoom in on the viewing window in the app by pinching the screen as per on a normal photo on your phone.

**Q: I have this camera. I want to use wireless. Do I just leave the ethernet cable hanging outside?? Won’t it get wet from rain??**
A: I had the same worry, so I just fitted a plastic, adaptable box - IP65 rated - next to the camera and put both the ethernet connector and the power connector inside the adaptable box.

**Q: Does it work on android ? Thanks**
A: Hi, it works via a browser,  so any system that has a browser will be ok.  I use mine on Android phone,  Android tablet,  Windows PC, and Linux PC. Hope this helps

**Q: Does this come with the outdoor power lead?  If so how long & do you need to get an external ext cable to reach into the house as no power outside**
A: This is battery powered which last 180 days according to specs.

No power lead needed.

We have a camera doorbell that doesn’t cover all of our front aspect so ordered this as further outside security and are very pleased with it. Good price and arrived quickly. Easy to set up once wired into power, which we an achieved by installing wires out of sight below guttering and into our loft which luckily has power sockets. The camera views are crystal clear and can be shared with family members who install the app. Love the auto tilt and pan that can save different views and move to them when clicked. More devices can be added so we will be ordering another to cover the rear aspect at some point.
