It does give you energy. Review: NOW Foods Amino Complete, 360 Caps - I am seeing some benefits from using this product. I seem to have more energy, and for some reason am not as stressed. The initial reason for the purchase was so that I can rebuild "thin" skin related to a lengthy period of Prednisone use. It seems to be working. I also would like to pick up a few healthy pounds and build some muscle back. I will update this review, if needed, but as of now, I am satisfied with this product. I plan to purchase it again. The only drawback I have with it is that you must take 4 capsules 1 to 3 times per day. I am using it twice/day right now. And, it is recommended that it be taken with food--at least juice, so I have to remember to take it then, or else find some juice to take them with on the run. They are not "horse pills" but they aren't small, either, so if you have difficulty taking pills, you might be able to open the capsule and take it with something, I guess. Right now, they are working just fine for me, and I would recommend them to anyone as just part of putting "building blocks" back into your system that vitamins, and other supplements don't fulfill. Might as well have the healthiest body I can, for as long as I can, right? ## Features - NOW Sports products are comprehensively tested so you can trust that our products are pure and effective for every level of athletics - AMINO COMPLETE FOR ATHLETES: Get a balanced blend of protein and free-form amino acids in one handy supplement! - SUGGESTED USAGE: Take 4 capsules daily with your drink of choice - GMP Quality Assured: NPA A-rated GMP certification means that every aspect of the NOW manufacturing process has been examined, including our laboratory/testing methods (for stability, potency, and product formulation) - Founded in 1968 by Elwood Richard, NOW is one of the largest independent, family- and employee-owned manufacturers of natural products ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000W7DROM | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Allergen Information | Egg Free, Non-GMO, Nut Free | | Best Sellers Rank | #12,783 in Health & Household ( See Top 100 in Health & Household ) #30 in Branched Chain Amino Acids Nutritional Supplements | | Brand | NOW | | Brand Name | NOW | | Color | Off White | | Container Type | Bottle | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 8,441 Reviews | | Diet Type | Halal, Kosher | | Dosage Form | Capsule | | Flavor | Unflavored | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00733739000118, 08720634116466 | | Item Dimensions | 2.5 x 2.45 x 4.55 inches | | Item Form | Capsule | | Item Weight | 4.8 ounces | | Manufacturer | NOW | | Manufacturer Part Number | ANO-1007 | | Material Features | GMO Free, Kosher Certified | | Model Name | Amino Complete™, Protein Blend With 21 Aminos and B-6, | | Model Number | 0011 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package Size Name | 120 Capsules | | Primary Supplement Type | protein | | Product Benefits | Energy Management, Immune Support | | Recommended Uses For Product | Amino Acid | | Specific Uses For Product | Amino Acid | | Total Servings Per Container | 30 | | UPC | 733739000118 | | Unit Count | 120 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** NOW - **Diet Type:** Halal, Kosher - **Flavor:** Unflavored - **Item Form:** Capsule - **Item Weight:** 4.8 ounces - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 2.5 x 2.45 x 4.55 inches - **Primary Supplement Type:** protein - **Product Benefits:** Energy Management, Immune Support - **Unit Count:** 120 Count ## Images ![NOW Sports, Amino Complete™, Protein Blend with 20 Aminos, 120 Veg Caps - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71-mv3AKYeL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: does this product contain glycine, orinithin, arginine, lysine** A: From the Product Description on this page: "NOW Amino Complete contains a balanced blend of the following essential and non-essential amino acids: L-Alanine, L-Arginine, L-Aspartic Acid, L-Cysteine, L-Glutamic Acid, L-Glycine, L-Histidine, L-Isoleucine, L-Leucine, L-Lysine, L-Methionine, L-Ornithine, L-Phenylalanine, L-Proline, L-Serine, L-Threonine, L-Tryptophan, L-Tyrosine and L-Valine" **Q: What is the source of the amino acids?
