A: According to the bottom of the bottle, it is made in  China.

**Q: where does  the straw fit on the lid?**
A: It fits on the underside of the lid. There is a drinking spout on the top.

**Q: Can you drink without the straw?**
A: Yes.  I never use the straw.  I prefer drinking without the straw.

**Q: Will the 24oz bottle fit in a bike bottle cage?**
A: Not sure, I know it fits in my car cup holders.
