It is incredibly well-made, sturdy, and the padded strap makes it very comfortable to wear for long walks. My dog feels completely secure and relaxed inside. It is perfect for hands-free carrying and traveling together. Highly recommended! Review: Medium for sure ! - WHAT SIZE TO GET? I got a new chi baby, and she is currently 1lb. I went with the medium because I like options, ha ha. While it looks like my baby is swimming in the medium, when you put it on and stick in a small blanket, it’s still a small area. I highly recommend getting the medium over the small, no matter what your dog size is. It also keeps my pup fully inside and everyone thinks I just have a purse. I have just enough room to put in a few things along with my pup. Comfort: I’m the biggest spaz in the world when it comes to things I wear. I don’t like anything tight or uncomfortable to my pitiful old shoulders. The product is very lightweight and it doesn’t annoy me at all. I can also shift it in different positions, not just like how the picture shows. Uses: I use the bag more at home than when I go out. Right now my puppy is too small to just leave on the floor alone, so when I clean, she gets a nice little cubby to snuggle into and she’s not crying for me to come and get her. I also foster kittens. This bag is great for bottle babies or very young kittens. I can fit a whole litter of newborns in the bag and have room to pack all their supplies. The straps are long and adjustable. While it’s still a little big for me, I can actually wear it around my waist like a gigantic fanny pack. I just use a safety pin to get it a little smaller. GREAT PRODUCT! ## Features - How to Choose the Size: Please consult our size chart to find the right fit for your pet. The well-wrapped design actually helps your pet feel more secure and comfortable. **Q: Which size fits which weight? How do I choose the right one?** A: If your dog has a longer body or legs, we recommend sizing up if they’re near the upper end of a weight range — don’t just go by weight alone. That way, they’ll have more room to sit comfortably. **Q: Is the base firm or saggy? Will my pet feel uncomfortable lying down?** A: Versions 1.0 and 2.0 have a soft, cozy bottom, while version 3.0 adds a supportive cushion pad for extra structure. All three are very comfortable — most pets love curling up and even fall asleep in them. **Q: Is the mesh breathable? Will it be too hot in summer?** A: The mesh material is much more breathable than the typical cotton fabrics on the market, so it helps keep your pet cool and comfortable during the summer. **Q: Does it really have side pockets for phone/keys as shown?** A: Yes, it has two pockets. There’s a small front pocket perfect for keys or a phone, and a zippered back pocket that can hold your phone, wallet, poop bags, and more. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super comfortable and great quality! *by L***Y on July 14, 2026* I absolutely love this pet sling carrier! GREAT PRODUCT! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cozy, Snug, and Not Quite There *by N***T on November 19, 2023* 4 stars: recommended (with reservations) This is a great pet sling if you have a docile animal. Any squirming or need-to-wander? the pet will escape. On top of that, there are a few design flaws that make it harder to get the pet in the sling in the first place. And finally, although the strap is technically adjustable, it cannot be lengthened/shortened to a useful amount. I should note that I ended up returning it, even though I really like the quality — my cat struggled too much getting in, which makes it unsuitable for my needs (a quick sling for her to sleep in, when she wants to be held like a rugby ball). Pros The quality is high: stitching is tight and secure, the material is strong (and yet comfortable to rest against pet and person), and things like straps and pockets are well made. Once my pet was inside, the weight was well distributed and there was enough room for her to turn around without getting tangled. Overall, I felt as if I could carry the pet comfortable for a few hours, if not longer. Cons I was hoping to be able to tighten the strap so that the cat could rest right below my shoulder (her favorite spot), but it's really designed for owners to carry the animal at tummy or waist level. Which is great if you're in the 60% of the population that is around average height, but not useful if you're very tall or very short. Less of an issue is that it takes a lot of effort to adjust the length. Most people are only going to adjust it once, to get it to the ideal length, and then leave it alone. Three other design flaws were a bigger problem for me. First, the drawstring is a great idea for tightening the opening if your animal is completely docile. If not, then you have to open the zipper and the drawstring, at which point the string gets in the way of putting the animal into the sling and zipping it up. The second problem is that the velcro tab to hold the zipper in place doesn't have any place to go while the sling is unzipped. So it keeps trying to close, which makes it harder than necessary, to zip back up. And finally, there's a snap-hook near the drawstring which could be useful if your animal has a collar, but just gets in the way if you don't. It also complicates getting a non-docile pet in and out. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/55566684-yudodo-pet-sling-carrier-for-2-5-lbs-small-dogs](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/55566684-yudodo-pet-sling-carrier-for-2-5-lbs-small-dogs) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
