I actually like these better cause the stock bag came with a handle right down the middle which made it annoying to clean out. I also like to flip them inside out when my pool is really dirty cause the leaves don't stick to the smooth side as well so it's easier to clean out. Then I clean them and run it again with the softer cotton feeling side inwards and it seems to filter the fine particles better.
