Durabox D700 wall-mount locking drop box with tubular key is designed for check drop, keys, car remotes, and bulky items up to 1" thick. Metal baffle protects contents from fishing. Pre-drilled mounting holes in back (with installation hardware included). Designed for indoor use only and is not a waterproof unit. Review: Great Quality Product and Fast Shipping - We bought this to add to our office, due to the lock down from the Coronavirus State of Emergency. We needed a secure mail drop for the mail as well as clients to drop off envelopes so we could keep the business open without having to meet directly with people. This Drop Box provided a secure solution. It is made of powder coated metal. It's solid. The Outside Mail Flap is heavy and not a flimsy metal. The drop shoot has two pieces so the unit can accommodate different size walls. The interior box is big enough fo accommodate a number of small number 10 envelopes or a few larger 9 x 11 + - envelopes if filled. The Box locks and is very solid. So it is good if you need the mail in a locked box until you can empty it. I would recommend this. Installation requires the right tools and time. If you are not handy, I would recommend hiring someone to install this. The trick is that the "Mail Shoot" has to go through the wall on an angle. So the outside Hole is higher than the inside box. You also have to be able to secure the heavy inside box to the wall. We had to put a cross piece in the wall between the studs to screw the bolts into. The unit does come with 4 large wall bolts that would work if you did not want to cut out the area behind the box. However you need to get the drop shoot lined up correctly and you will likely wind up cutting a larger hole in the inside wall that you originally expect. Overall this is a good product for the price and I recommend it.
