Review: It worked for me, mostly ! - I've read a lot of reviews for this product, and wanted to give it a fair chance to work before writing a review. I have been having hot flashes for about 7 years. I read if you take 1200UI of Vitamin E it will help. I did that for the first few years, and it seemed to help, or it was a placebo. Then I got lazy and quit taking it, I thought I was done with hot flashes. Then they came back with vengeance. The vitamin E was not helping, (you also have to take vitamin E for several days/weeks before you know if it's going to work). My hot flashes were almost constant, 24/7, like someone was turning on and off a light switch. This lasted for several months, perhaps even a couple of years. I'm anti hormone treatment, but I was to the point where I was willing to try anything my Dr. suggested. She suggested this exact product. Bonafide-Relizen. I started taking this late last spring, (six months ago), and it takes several weeks before you see any results, and it is a lot of money to spend on an experiment. One reason I waited so long to give a review, I needed to see if it was working for me. And, now that we are heading into winter, I wanted to see how I would feel once my husband started the wood stove up again. One thing, I have finally learned to dress in layers, if I'm hot, take off a layer, or two. As for the Relizen, I'd say it's doing a really good job. I still get hot flashes, but I can now go several days without one. All I had to do , before, was think about a hot flash and I'd get one. While writing this review I haven't gotten one. I'm very happy to have my hot flashes in check. You have to remember, we are all different, our hormones are all different, and constantly changing while we go through this wonderful time in our lives. Hot flashes, as bad as they can be, (and they can be miserable), are still better then any day on my period. If your trying to decide if you should take this or not, why else read reviews, what do you have to loose? It's either going to work or it's not. Good luck. **Q: Refund policy if it doednt work for me?**
A: It took your body years to become menopausal.  One week is nothing in the hormonal path of your life.  It will take months and years to get your hormones where they need to be.  If you can not understand this you should not have purchased it in the first place, even if some review said it worked for them in a week.  Second, this is not a hormonal fix.  It's an elegant fix that addresses only the hypothalamus sending crazy messages to sweat glands due to too little estrogen in your body.  I am just about taking this for the full month now and I could say I see small changes but I know that my body still did not catch on.  I am also taking progesterone at night and that helps with sleep and hot flashes as well.  Eventually I may get to estrogen too but the process to get the estrogen (aside from creams) is lengthily.

A: Main ingredient is Swedish Flower Pollen Extract but other ingredients are: isomalt, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, acacia, magnesium stearate, dl-a-tocopheryl (antiodxidant), hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, silica, polysorbate

**Q: Dim- how is this like, or unlike dim? i have been using dim successfully for years. is there a reason to switch?**
A: Supplement- Diindolylmethane (DIM) is a compound created when you digest cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli or Brussels sprouts. Research suggests that DIM affects estrogen levels in your body. I have been using it to control my adult acne. Watch the dosage between brands.

**Q: Does it matter what time of day you take Relizen?**
A: No, it does not matter what time of day you take this.  I always took it in the morning, it just matters that you do take it and try not to skip a day.  Good Luck.  I took this for two years before i felt like I could stop, but I had constant hot flashes.  I also quit drinking wine :( at the same time, which also helped.

Unfortunately, this product made my hot flashes significantly worse. After about one week of using this product, I noticed that during the day I had more frequent and intense hot flashes and the night hot flashes were even worse!! But, wanted to try a bit longer to see if I would get any benefits from using it, so stuck with it. After about 3 weeks, I had to stop. I was having more hot flashes than I had before using and at night I started getting night sweats. I wasn't able to sleep and had to change my shirt during the night. About 3 or 4 days after I stopped taking, the number of hot flashes reduced and no longer having night sweats. Appears from the comments this product works for some people, but unfortunately this product made my symptoms significantly worse.
