It was easy to set up and sturdy enough to contain our pet. You can also adjust it if you don't need all the panels. It also comes apart easily and only doesn't take up a ton of space when stored. (It doesn't really fold so much as disassemble.). Individual stakes that go between the panels look like giant knitting needles so it will easily stabilize outside. We are using it inside on carpet and it hasn't moved. Also, it is in our living room and the dimensions listed are true to size. I think it will be a great value for anyone with a smaller, low-to-the-ground animal. Bigger dogs might be able to jump out, but my active little guy is medium sized and has been contained without a problem. The little gate works well, as well. Review: Great playpen for puppy training - I purchased the 24” 8-panel playpen, but I’m currently using 6 panels while potty training my puppy. Assembly was very easy, and the playpen is surprisingly sturdy. It doesn’t tip over, even when my puppy moves around and plays. I also love that the panels can be rearranged into different shapes depending on the space and how I want to use it. I’m using a 48” x 48” mat underneath. With all 8 panels, the mat fits very tightly, so 6 panels works better for my current setup. One thing I really like is that the connecting rods can be used with rubber caps. I put the rubber caps on the bottom of the rods when using the playpen indoors to protect my floors from scratches. If using it outdoors, the rubber caps aren’t necessary because the rods can be pushed directly into the ground. I have enough room inside for a potty area, bed, and toys, which makes it really convenient for puppy training. Overall, I’m very happy with this playpen. It’s sturdy, easy to assemble, flexible, and great for puppy training. Definitely recommend! 🐶❤️ ## Features - A win-win solution: The FXW Dog Playpen is designed to bring a win-win solution to you and your lovely dog. Different from a narrow enclosure cage or kennel, the FXW dog pen provides a spacious semi-open activity area specifically for your dog. Your dog will have fun in its safe and sturdy kingdom. Meanwhile, you can take a real break and be truly relaxed without worrying about your beloved pet. Fun, Relaxation and Well-being is the orientation of the FXW team. - Unlock your freedom, savor the moment: The stakes are designed with rounded ball tops to protect the dog's claws from injury. The rods are easily inserted into the ground for greater stability and rigidity, which won't collapse when the dog leans against them. Also, the automatic gravity-actioned locking mechanism will ensure you can open and close the door smoothly and reduces the chance of dogs unlocking by themselves. All of this is designed for absolute safety, so you can really relax. - Super easy to assemble: It won’t take you more than 5 minutes to assemble these portable dog fences as well as pack them away due to the rod-connected design. Meanwhile, panels can be added or removed freely to give you a fully flexible area and arrange the dog pen in any shape you need. - Multi-scenario use: The FXW dog playpen features a powder coating that will help protect against rust and extend its life, which makes it ideal for RV camping, traveling, or for use in the yard. When used indoors, we recommend placing it on a dog pad or carpet to prevent the rods from scratching the floor, or please try our new floor protectors or dog pee pad for the same purpose. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0C3HYJCWB | | Best Sellers Rank | #716 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #1 in Dog Playpens | | Brand | FXW | | Brand Name | FXW | | Closure Type | latch, latch, latch | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 6,318 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Included Components | Dog Playpen | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 46.5"L x 46.5"W x 23.6"H | | Item Shape | Square | | Item Weight | 22 pounds | | Manufacturer | FXW | | Manufacturer Part Number | 121-2408-BK/AMZGMCA1DP1NFBA | | Material | Metal | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Number | 121-2408-BK/AMZGMAU1DP01NFBA | | Pet Type | Dog | | Product Dimensions | 46.5"L x 46.5"W x 23.6"H | | Product Style | Modern and Compact | | Shape | Square | | Style | Modern and Compact | | Target Species | Dog | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** FXW - **Color:** Black - **Material:** Metal - **Product Dimensions:** 46.5"L x 46.5"W x 23.6"H - **Style:** Modern and Compact ## Images ![FXW Rollick Dog Playpen, Indoor, Yard & RV Camping, 24" H, 8 Panels - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81QHr15inLL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Pattern, Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How do I choose the right fence height for my dog?** A: FXW fences come in 24", 32", 40", 45", and 50" heights. Choose based on your dog’s shoulder height — the fence should be at least 10" taller. For example, 24" for dogs up to 14" tall. For jumpy or active dogs, go one size higher for safety. **Q: Can I buy extra panels, gates, or stakes if I need more?** A: Yes! FXW offers additional panels, gates, and stakes that can be purchased separately. You can easily find them by searching for “FXW panels/gates/ stake” or by visiting the FXW brand store. **Q: Can I connect two sets together to make a larger play area?** A: Yes. FXW playpens from the same series, even in different sizes, can be easily connected to create a larger or differently shaped space. For better stability, we recommend connecting playpens of the same height (for example, two 32" sets). **Q: Can I connect different series or types of playpens together?** A: Different FXW playpen series have slightly different connection designs. Please contact FXW team to confirm compatibility before connecting different series. **Q: Can I use the playpen as a room divider or to block off an area?** A: Yes! Use the FXW playpen as a room divider or safety barrier with FXW Fence-to-Wall Anchor (sold separately). They secure panels to walls or doorways for a sturdy setup and let you extend the playpen to fit your space. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would buy it again if I needed it *by H***I on August 24, 2026* This was perfect for containing our dog post-surgery. I have been breeding pigs for 20 years and this works wonderfully. The panels are held together with removable long pins, so you can change the shape. When they were small I used just a few panels then added as they got older. It has a door but I don’t even use it. Just pull a pin out and pups can come out. Best for small breeds. Easy to clean, move around and assembly super easy. 10 minutes tops. ## Frequently Bought Together - FXW Rollick Dog Playpen for Yard, RV Camping, 24 inch 8 Panels for Puppy and Small Dogs│Patented - FXW Washable Pee Pads for Dogs, Puppy Pads with Super Absorbent, Specifically Designed for FXW Rollick/Homeplus 24inch 8 Panels Dog Playpen, Square, 63" x 63", 1 Pack - FXW Floor Protectors Only Suitable for FXW Rollick/Instant/Aster Dog Playpen, 20PCS --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/548940679-fxw-rollick-dog-playpen-indoor-yard-and-rv-camping-24](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/548940679-fxw-rollick-dog-playpen-indoor-yard-and-rv-camping-24) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
