Regards **Q: Do these straws have the ring at the bottom to keep them from coming out of the drink? I am looking for hard plastic straws that don’t have that ring.** A: Thank you for your question. We consciously decided to produce our straws without that ring. In our research and experience, that ring does not only NOT serve the purpose that some say, but it actually can be an obstacle for using them in many common tumbler lids. So that's why we chose not to manufacture them without this ring **Q: will the straw break if it was bitten into? are the straws flexible at all?** A: The straws are not flexible, they are hard plastic. But hold up to washing in the dishwasher over and over. My son is a biter on straws and he hasn’t broken one yet. They will eventually wear out from biting.
