However, if it is not sealed, you can paint another color right over it. It is water-based and will fade over time. During the staining process, the color and be removed with water, if not dry. **Q: What do you “seal” it with?** A: I put on 2 coats of EcoStain and sealed it with 2 coats of Behr "Wet Look" Concrete Sealer. One piece of advice, I tried to "even out" the stain on the 1st coat and that was a mistake. Letting it pool naturally turned out better, in my opinion.
