They are a great size, not too small, and they were each packaged individually in plastic to prevent too much dust in the box. Great for our 3 year old to add to his rock collection. The stones are unpolished but very beautiful and unique. This would be a great gift for a kid who loves rocks. Review: Fantastic Rock Collection - I purchased this high quality rock, gemstone, and mineral collection for my grandson. He was very excited to get it because it has a good variety of nice size rocks. It arrived with each piece individually wrapped to keep dust to a minimum. The case is attractive and sturdy and it has a colorful identification chart. My grandson loves rocks and he loved this rock collection. A magnifying glass and brush are included. They are a great size, not too small, and they were each packaged individually in plastic to prevent too much dust in the box. Great for our 3 year old to add to his rock collection. The stones are unpolished but very beautiful and unique. This would be a great gift for a kid who loves rocks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Rock Collection *by J***W on October 18, 2024* I purchased this high quality rock, gemstone, and mineral collection for my grandson. I taught science for many years and this is one of the best collections I have ever seen. It would be great for rock enthusiasts and elementary classrooms. I would purchase it again if I needed a second kit for another grandson. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Instead of subscribing to a rock app, get this *by I***S on June 25, 2026* My child loved it. Rocks are decent size and the information card and added brush and magnifying glass are great add ons. The box it comes contains foam that protects the rocks well and they arrive individually wrapped for added protection No instructions are included. This cost the same as a year of a rock identifying app on the phone. I see this as a better value than buying a subscription on an app. Something physical that will work if power/internet goes out. ## Frequently Bought Together - Rock Collection for Kids - 30 Pcs Rocks, Gemstones & Crystals Kit with Learning Guide,Mineral Education Set Geology Science STEM Toys, Earth Science Activity,Gifts for Boys & Girls - NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Break Open 10 Premium Geodes – Includes Goggles and 2 Display Stands - Great STEM Science Kit, Geology Gift for Kids, Break Your Own Geodes with Crystals, Toys for Boys and Girls - My Book of Rocks and Minerals: Things to Find, Collect, and Treasure --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/546780027-rock-collection-for-kids-30pcs-rocks-gemstones-and-crystals-kit](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/546780027-rock-collection-for-kids-30pcs-rocks-gemstones-and-crystals-kit) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
