They said “knock yourself out” and didn’t charge me anything 😁. Ended up being much easier to just fill them by hand from the pile vs using a shovel since the opening is so narrow. **Q: Should i fill with sand or gravel?** A: You can use what ever you have on hand. I use road base material of gravel, sand and dirt. Even after multiple times of being rained on and snowed on, each bag emptied out easily. **Q: Can I fill these with water?** A: No, they will not hold water. **Q: What are the dimensions of a filled bag?** A: I filled mine with sand as full as I could. I’d estimate that the resulting diameter ended up being 4.5-5 inches. Length is close to 6 ft. As advertised. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent as a barrier for minor flooding *by M***K on Reviewed in the United States on 28 April 2024* I filled these with sand (using an improvised funnel) and placed them end-to-end (with an 8" overlap) along a 15 foot length of concrete, in an area prone to flooding during heavy rains. They held up and kept the area behind them dry through several strong storms.They do not sit very tall, but they can hold back at least 2 inches of water if they are fully packed and the water does not have much momentum behind it. You may need to add sandbags on top of this at the points where each segment overlaps the next.The green dye on the canvas did NOT leach or stain the concrete after sitting on it for several months in all kinds of conditions.
