I read that GG is a substance we make in our bodies and is found in some foods. The production of GG is inhibited when we take statins but also declines as we age. This decline is responsible for the muscle mass that is gradually lost with the aging process. Currently there are human clinical trials in progress to establish the most effective dose of GG for the prevention of toxicities from statins. This COQ10 supplement not only gives you ubiquinol, which is the most effective form of CoQ10, but it also has 50 mg of GG to help your body synthesis its own COQ10. The company Xtendlife is a well established company in New Zealand and seems to produce high quality supplements. After all my research I believe this is a superior brand of COQ10 and I have decided that I will continue to take it. I think we will be hearing more about GG in the near future.
