We source all our incense directly from the farmers. Being natives of the land gives us an edge and the ability to access high-quality incense that others can not get. We have been in the natural incense business for generations. All the years of experience have led us to develop a purchasing model for our resins that benefits farmers and our customers. Our high-quality frankincense resin is carefully sorted & packed under strict guidelines to retain the freshness and quality of the aroma resins. We sell all our resins close to the harvest period to deliver the best products to our beloved customers. Frankincense can be used in applications like powder, oil, etc. ## Features - SOURCED FROM SOMALIA: Sourced from northeastern Somalia, where resin is harvested from Boswellia Carterii trees. This Somali frankincense resin is carefully selected and prepared as loose pieces for traditional incense use. - RICH CITRUS-PINE AROMA: Frankincense incense releases a naturally rich citrus-pine aroma with warm woody notes as the resin heats. The balanced fragrance suits prayer spaces, churches, living rooms, bedrooms, offices and other indoor areas for home fragrance. - TRADITIONAL LUBAN INCENSE: Luban frankincense, traditionally known as لبان الذكر الاصلي, is used in established resin-burning customs. This frankincense resin format suits prayer spaces, church settings and traditional aromatic use with charcoal or a resin burner. - LOOSE, DRY RESIN FORM: Loose frankincense gum resin is sun-dried and cleaned so the resin pieces stay dry, separated and easy to portion. Natural frankincense rocks can be placed on charcoal or used with a compatible incense burner for steady fragrance release. - VERSATILE HOME FRAGRANCE: Suitable as Catholic Orthodox incense, monastery incense and everyday home fragrance. Place a small amount of frankincense resin on a heated charcoal disc or compatible resin incense burner and allow the pieces to warm gradually. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BRJRMDMQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #359,842 in Home ( See Top 100 in Home ) #4,995 in Incense | | Brand Name | Igneous Products | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (431) | | Item Form | Resins | | Item Length | 5.85 Inches | | Item Type Name | Incense Resin | | Manufacturer | Igneous Products | | Material Type | Boswellia Carterii | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Package Size Name | 1 LB | | Product Benefits | Experience the freshness and purity of recently harvested, high-quality frankincense incense from native farmers | | Scent Name | Frankincense (Boswellia Carterii) | | UPC | 628451182054 | | Unit Count | 453.5924 Grams | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Igneous Products - **Item form:** Resins - **Material:** Boswellia Carterii - **Scent:** Frankincense (Boswellia Carterii) ## Images ![Igneous Products Frankincense Incense Resin (1LB / 453.6 Grams) | 100% Pure Somalian Frankincense Resin - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81f-htSE1eL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can this be used with Electric frankincense burner?** A: Yes, there is no issue with using the Frankincense incense on normal burners or electric burners **Q: What is the purpose of salt on charcoal andnwhat kind to use?** A: I find no mention of salt on back of package.
