Review: So far played two very good and very different games - So far played two very good and very different games. A 6 player trade/cold war game and a 4 player warfare/scheming pacts game. I wouldn't normally rate 5 star after two games but the content has been so good it's hard to imagine even a subpar game dropping below 4 stars. Although expensive and vast I would recommend if you have some spare cash and some equally minded (or patient) friends.

**Q: why is the recommended age 13-15? im older and i want to play it.**
A: "Recommended ages" often have little to do with the game itself and have more to do with whether or not it contains small pieces that a child could choke on.  You could put out "Candyland" and if it had small enough pieces you might be required to put an age limit of 13+ years on the box to protect yourself from litigation.  Having played this game many times I wouldn't personally recommend it for anyone who is not mature enough to focus on a game with complex mechanics for several hours.  What age that is really depends on the person.

**Q: How long does an average session last?**
A: 4-5 hours.  Although rare, I’ve had a few games that have been under 3 hours.  Just remember it’s a score objectives game and not a war game, that’s generally why people take so long.

**Q: Does the game contain dice?**
A: Yes, eight 10-sided dice are in the box.

**Q: Does it come with a rule book?**
A: In typical fantasy flight games style it comes with both a Learn to play guide and an extremely thorough rule book. Both of which are available for viewing (free) on their website before you get the game as well.

Superb. It does take 8 hours to play, but somehow never becomes boring. An epic space opera that makes for hilarious, tense, tactical and political games. If you’ve got enough keen friends to play, this is great value for all of the entertainment you’ll get out of it.
