First I used Nexllent silicon scar sheet which is also available on Amazon, it has thicker silicon gel that used to stay on skin over 24 hours or more. It was water resistant too. But this product has lower price that nexllent so i decided to buy this one. It is as thin as cello tape. Doesn't stay on skin for like 5 mins. With normal movements like walking, sitting in house that tape gets loose from skin. I do not think it releases any amount of silicon into the skin. Nexllent was very efficient in decreasing my surgical scars. But this one is just for placebo effect, it doesn't work at all.
