Review: Not Quite 2 lbs, Needs a Good Rinse First - Picked this up for my plant setup and it’s usable, but just know what you’re getting. I actually weighed the contents 1.7 dry and 1.5 lbs after washing, there was a good amount of dirt and sand mixed in with the rocks. Out of the bag, the stones looked pretty dull. After a few rinses and straining, they cleaned up nicely and actually looked a lot better. Quick tip: don’t rinse this in your sink. That dirt and sand will build up and clog your pipes fast. Use a bucket or rinse outside. Once cleaned, they get the job done. Just expect a little prep work upfront.
