**Q: I have 1,000 gallons fish pond.  If I just add 300 gallons of new tap water how much product do I use?**
A: just use enough to treat the new 300 gallons of fresh water

**Q: The label says "for ornamental ponds only."  so, i cannot safely use this product in my aquaponics tilapia pond?  if not, what product should i use?**
A: Correct, this product is intended for ornamental water gardens and fish ponds.  It has not been tested for human consumption. You need a product that has been tested as such.

**Q: How quickly is water safe for fish?**
A: Depends on the size of the pond, if you are doing a partial water change or treating the entire pond.  Usually within several minutes.

**Q: will this work for a 20 gallon aquarium?**
A: One capsule (10 ml) from the 16.9 bottle is enough to treat 50 gallons, so you would only need to reduce the amount. For exact measurements, contact www.tetrapond.com.  I have a healthy 800 gallon pond, and this application takes care of the nasty metals and chlorine and chloramine. My 12 fish seem very happy. Good luck.

Not long after a second dose, we had goldfish bumping uglies in the pond. Absolutely crazy. We have been working towards a better and better biological environment for the fin kids. This seemed like a good next step. Glad we tried it, going to order more.
