The product is formulated to be very bland and quite pleasant-tasting to make it palatable. We always recommend that you add the powder in our sachets to about an inch of water and swirl the powder in the glass - using a spoon or fork to stir doesn’t seem to be as effective. Continue to swirl until the powder has dissolved and then you may add more water if you wish. It’s best not to add the powder to the glass first and then add the liquid, as it may clump. If you are still having trouble with this method or do not like the bland taste then you can simply sprinkle the powder into yoghurt, cereal or other cold foods. Do not put the powder into any food or liquid that is warm as this may damage the supplement. You should also avoid adding the powder to any fruit juice, as citric acid may also damage the supplement. With regard to your question, this product comes in sachet form, and we recommend 1-4 sachets daily depending on your needs. I normally recommend starting with 1-2 sachets a day, and increasing to 3-4 after a few days if needed, spread throughout the day e.g. one with each meal, and one before bed, though you can take this one without food too if desired. A small pack of 10 sachets is suitable for occasional use, and a larger pack of 30 sachets for regular use. It is best to dissolve the sachet in a small amount of cold water. It’s perfect value for money ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleased with product for chronic constipation. *by T***A on 11 May 2015* Sadly, I have been suffering from constipation since having my gallbladder removed a few years ago. I have trialed the majority of OTC products (most caused increased gas pain) as well as prescription options (Amitiza caused severe gastritis, Linzess stopped working after a few weeks of daily use etc). While this product did increase gas discomfort for the first four days (as the label warns it may) this symptom has resolved. I did start promptly having once daily bowel movements after the first dose. It has been a month now since I first started this product and I find that while my stools may change (sometimes soft, others more firm), I am still pleased to be going at least once daily if not 2-3 times (smaller amounts). As noted in the other review, this product does travel from the UK and it did take approx. 3 weeks before it arrived. I will continue to be a daily user unless side-effects change/evolve.
