Then I discovered Mushroom Chai Tea! I had no idea Mushroom Chai Tea was even a thing, and since I absolutely LOVE chai, I knew I had to give it a try. This is only the second mushroom chai blend I’ve tried, and I can officially say my search is over🙌🏻 I use my frother to mix one heaping scoop with 8 oz of hot water and a little Chobani creamer and that's all it takes to make me one happy camper! It tastes delicious, is so easy to make, and has become something I genuinely look forward to drinking. I’m SO happy I FINALLY found this amazing product❤️🙌🏻 Review: Good for All-in-One - What’s happy to find the mushroom chai tea mix because there’s so many coffee options out there and I don’t drink or like a coffee. The flavor is good. I usually add this to my Tazo Skinny Chai Latte Concentrate so I don’t taste it in there, it doesn’t make it taste weird which is good. Since it has Chai spices in the mix I supposed you can just add boiling water or your favorite milk to it and drink it without a separate Chai tea bag/mix/concentrate, but I don’t. It comes with a tiny scoop. Pictured next to the scoop from my protein shake, a tablespoon and teaspoon for scale. The bag is small, and the quantity takes up less the half the size of the bag. See interior photo. I’ve decided to just buy mushroom powder mix going forward and add that to my own Chai. You can find mushroom powder mix for less money at a higher quantity. This is a nice all-in-one option if you’re traveling or don’t want to take the extra steps at home with your own Chai. I think it’s generally a good buy, but perhaps a touch expensive for the amount that you receive considering about half of this is makes up the Chai spices and only half the Mushroom powder, which is the whole point isn’t it? ## Features - MUSHROOM CHAI TEA WITH 5 FUNCTIONAL MUSHROOMS – Chai Magic delivers 5000mg of Lions Mane, Reishi, Chaga, Cordyceps & Turkey Tail blended with authentic Indian Masala Chai — Black Tea, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Ginger, Vanilla & Clove. Thanks for choosing MegaPlants! **Q: I have tasted chais at multiple places and noticed they have different flavor notes. How would anyone describe this one?** A: This is incredibly spicy. I was shocked…the pepper notes are so pronounced that it overpowers the other flavors and gives the chai a lot of heat. If you’re looking for something similar to Mud Water, this is not it. **Q: Does this have caffeine? If so, is it a lot?** A: No, I don’t see a mention of caffeine on the label from my understanding the Mushrooms replacing the caffeine. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best Mushroom Blend I've Ever Tried🙌🏻 *by J***E on August 9, 2026* After I could no longer get Alive Coffee, I started searching for a mushroom coffee replacement — and after almost a year of trying different options, I still hadn’t found anything I really liked. Chai should have a spice/flavor kick and it was wonderful. I still drink it, but it doesn't have much flavor anymore. ## Frequently Bought Together - MEGAPLANTS Chai Magic (50 Servings) | Superfood 5 Mushroom Powder Blend for Focus, Clarity & Energy + Spiced Masala Chai Blend | Smoothie, Coffee Alternative - MEGAPLANTS Mushroom Matcha Magic - USDA Organic Ceremonial Grade Japanese Matcha (50 Serving)- with Reishi, Lion’s Mane, Chaga, Cordyceps & Turkey Tail – Superfood for Focus & Energy. - MegaPlants Golden Milk Magic (50 Servings) | Superfood 5 Mushroom Blend for Sleep, Relaxation, Relief | Turmeric, Ashwaghanda, Valerian, Chamomile + 5 Mushroom Blend | Smoothie, Hot Beverage --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/541942871-megaplants-mushroom-chai-tea-organic-masala-chai-latte-coffee-alternative](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/541942871-megaplants-mushroom-chai-tea-organic-masala-chai-latte-coffee-alternative) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
