It feels comfortable in the hand and responds smoothly when writing, taking notes, or drawing. I like how precise it feels on the screen, and the battery life has been convenient for everyday use. It’s a great option for school, work, or general iPad use without spending a lot. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality and performance ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best off-brand pen *by J***J on November 17, 2024* I’ve tried a lot of off-brand stylus pens for my iPad, but the Metapen Pencil A8 is by far the best one I’ve used. As someone who uses my iPad for everything from note-taking to digital art, finding a reliable stylus is essential, and this one has delivered on all fronts. Fast Charging: One of the standout features for me is how quickly it charges. I’ve used stylus pens that take forever to charge, but with the Metapen A8, I can get a full charge in no time. This has been a game-changer when I’m in a rush and don’t have much time to wait. Seamless On/Off Functionality: Unlike other off-brand pens I've used, this one turns on and off flawlessly. There's no fiddling with buttons or waiting for the pen to recognize my input. It’s ready to go when I am, and it doesn’t waste power when I’m not using it. Tilt Sensitivity & Palm Rejection: I was really impressed by the tilt sensitivity, especially when drawing or writing at different angles. The line thickness adjusts naturally as you tilt the pen, just like a traditional pencil. Plus, the palm rejection works perfectly—I can rest my hand on the screen without worrying about accidental marks or interference. Performance: The performance overall is great. The pen glides smoothly across the screen, with no lag or jitter. It’s responsive and feels natural, whether I’m sketching, annotating PDFs, or just taking notes. Compatibility: It’s fully compatible with my iPad and I’ve had no issues with connectivity or functionality. It works just as well as the Apple Pencil but at a much more affordable price point. Conclusion: Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the Metapen Pencil A8. It charges fast, operates smoothly, and has all the features I need for both productivity and creativity. If you’re looking for an affordable, high-quality stylus for your iPad, I highly recommend giving this one a try! ## Frequently Bought Together - Metapen Pencil A8 for Apple iPad 2018-2025, (2X Faster Charge), Tilt Sensitivity, Pixel Precision, Stylus Pen for iPad 11/10/9/8/7/6th Gen, Pro 12.9/11/13-inch M4, Air 3/4/5/M2/M3, Mini 5/6th, Black - Ailun Screen Protector for iPad 11th A16 2025 [11 Inch] / 10th Generation 2022 [10.9 Inch], Tempered Glass [Face ID & Apple Pencil Compatible] Ultra Sensitive Case Friendly [2 Pack] - New Apple iPad 11-inch: A16 chip, 11-inch Model, Liquid Retina Display, 128GB, Wi-Fi 6, 12MP Front/12MP Back Camera, Touch ID, All-Day Battery Life — Blue --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/541654863-metapen-pencil-a8-for-apple-ipad-2018-2026-2x-faster](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/541654863-metapen-pencil-a8-for-apple-ipad-2018-2026-2x-faster) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
