- Check your phone connection before ordering: Use the headphone socket if your device has one. If not, use the included USB-C adapter. Devices with a Lightning port require the Lightning bundle from Opis Technology.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why is there no sound after plugging in?**
A: Make sure the plug is pushed in fully until you feel a click. A partial connection won't transmit audio. Push firmly until it stops. If using a thick phone case, you may need to remove it so the plug fully seats in the headphone socket.

**Q: My iPhone asks what device I connected. What should I choose?**
A: Select “Other Device”, not “Headphones”. If the audio still behaves incorrectly, restart the phone once so it reinitialises the connection.

**Q: Does this work with Lightning and USB-C phones?**
A: Yes! For Android and USB-C iPhones (15+), choose this USB-C Edition (this one). For older iPhones (7–14), choose the Lightning Edition. Devices with a standard 3.5 mm headphone socket (audio jack) are always supported.

**Q: Does the handset have its own volume or mute buttons on the handle?**
A: To keep the authentic classic telephone design, the handset has no extra buttons. You simply control call volume and mute functions directly from your mobile phone or computer. Plug it in, adjust your device volume, and enjoy your call.

**Q: Can I use this handset to listen to music or watch movies?**
A: The handset is acoustically optimised specifically for voice calls to recreate the feel of a classic telephone. You can hear audio from videos, but it uses mono sound and is not designed to replace stereo headphones for music.
