If you've ever struggled to make a lengthy angled cut, this is the jig for you. With a simple indexed angle setting system, heavy duty hold-down clamps and a smooth sliding design, it makes tapered cuts fast, easy and precise. Perfect for chair legs, table legs and more. Plus, with the miter bar removed it doubles as a stable straight line ripping jig. Includes 36" miter bar. Measures 31-5/8" x 7-3/4". 1/2" thick MDF. Jig fits snug in any standard 3/8" x 3/4" miter slot and features a large, ergonomic handle for smooth push-action performance throughout the cut. Review: Great taper jig - This is a great taper jig for your table saw. Easy to assemble and use. Especially if your doing multiple pieces with the same taper.
Review: Very happy with this purchase. - I got this both to cut tapers and to get straight edges on boards so I can joint them and plane them. Setting up is a snap and the parts are all quality. Lots of nice touches like grip tape strips on the top and the rulers are nice and easy to stick on. Limitations: the width of the piece to be tapered is limited but this will work for me. You need to take the miter strip off the bottom (three screws) to use this to rip boards. Not a deal breaker by any means for me, I am just trying to find a place to store it so I do not lose it. I could have built this myself but it would not be this nice and I am happy with the purchase.

This is a great taper jig for your table saw. Easy to assemble and use. Especially if your doing multiple pieces with the same taper.

I got this both to cut tapers and to get straight edges on boards so I can joint them and plane them. Setting up is a snap and the parts are all quality.
