Review: Removes asphalt stones - This works awesome to remove asphalt stones from shingles going into our downspouts before the water enters our underground pipes. The cost to replace the 4” drain is over $3000 so this is a great insurance policy.
Review: I'd prefer if the collar had a tighter fit with the downspout. - These are functional, but I prefer the look and lower profile of the French Drain man filters. I don't have any connection to either company.

This works awesome to remove asphalt stones from shingles going into our downspouts before the water enters our underground pipes. The cost to replace the 4” drain is over $3000 so this is a great insurance policy.

These are functional, but I prefer the look and lower profile of the French Drain man filters. I don't have any connection to either company.

I installed a couple of these in the spring. They were easy to install. Several different fitting sizes included. One catches a lot of debris causing clogging on really heavy rains. Pesky doves find ways of getting their messes past the gutter screens. So far the solution to the clogging is regular cleaning. I am very pleased with this product.
