The magnetic backing was strong and held the photo on the refrigerator without issue. Both ends were open, so it made sliding the photo in a little easier because you could guide it and pull it through from both ends. I also liked the black framing around the edge, which gave it a finished look. I saw some complaints in the reviews about the company logo in the corner. I didn't find it to be a problem. It was small, and if it's an issue, take black Sharpie and draw a line over it. I did that on just a few to see, and it covered it just fine. Would definitely recommend these magnetic frames!
