Review: No back pocket (a few updates)...7/11/25 black book finally has a back pocket!! - 7/11/25 UPDATE: I decided to order another black book knowing about the missing back pocket. I wanted it to have around the house where the pocket wouldn't be as needed as when i'm out with it. Well it arrived today and to my happy surprise and shock it had a back pocket!! Yay! It's strange how 2 of them ordered in the past didn't have it, but today's arrival did!! So you may get lucky lol. I updated my review with a photo of the latest black one and the back pocket! ANOTHER UPDATE: 6/3/25--I finished up the whole black book that I bought back in March. Since it was the one that didn't have a pocket on the back, I just kept it at home and used it for everyday notes, writing down budgets and keeping track of spending. I use a Papermate Ink Joy 100 1.0M black ink pen (bought here on desertcart) and writing on the pages is smooth and with zero bleed onto the back of the page. It's actually a joy writing on the pages and I keep the book handy with me in the house. I find the size of this book to be perfect to carry around not being too big or small and the width is just right too. I came back today to order more because too many times when I find a journal book that I like, it usually disappears when I want to get another one. I now have the black (no back pockets in that color!), the white and the light blue (they have the pockets) and the light blue is very pretty that i'm here to get another one today. The price is also great especially when there's a discount going. This has become my favorite book to write in and I plan to take one along with me on my cruise vacation later this year because I find it's the perfect size to carry around. It comes with 2 bookmark ribbons and a pen holder but I always cut them off lol. I just don't need them and the pen holder sticking out of the book bugs me and I think it looks cleaner and more streamlined without it. 10/10 for this book and I hope desertcart always carries them.
