Review: Incredible product - This was very easy to use Fret cleaner. As mentioned by other reviews, just use masking tape on the finger board when using the fret cleaner. It really does work well, just a small amount on a cloth and then clean the frets. It makes the frets really shine again. How to prep. (I recommend using disposable gloves). I have included photos of the guitar fret board prep before and then after cleaning. Use masking tape in between the frets, leaving the metal frets exposed. Then place a small amount on to the fret and use a microfibre cloth to rub the frets clean. Work your way along fret board. Remove the masking tape and use lemon oil (if it’s dark wood only) to then clean the fret board.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this product be used on guitar pickups?**
A: I wouldn’t do that.  It is a mild abrasive.  Pretty certain it will damage gold plating.  Possibly damage nickel or chrome.  I’d look for something milder.  It works great on frets.

**Q: Can this product be used with a Dremel buffing wheel?**
A: I don't see why not, as long as you use masking tape to protect the fret board.

**Q: How is this different than your average Flitz metal polish? Never used this product before and want to polish my frets. thanks**
A: If you already have metal polish that works, I don't think you'll see much difference.

As a guitar tech, I only use the best quality products, Music Nomad products are my go-to products... "Frine is an exceptional fret cleaner/polisher...even removes oxidisation on frets, in fact I also use it to clean all hardware: Machine heads, Bridge saddles etc. except gold plated. A small amount goes a long way. Cannot recommend this product highly enough.
