The tub comes with a scoop and is sufficient for around 10-15 applications. Depending on the quantity and condition of the jewellery we advise between 1 to 2 scoops per session, more if necessary.Directions: 1.Place the Magic cleaning plate in a non-metallic bowl and pour sufficient hot water to cover all the jewellery to be cleaned 2.Add 1-2 scoops of Activator crystals and allow to dissolve 3.Immerse all articles to be cleaned in the water ensuring that they are in contact with the plate, either directly or through another article 4.Watch the tarnish disappear (usually in around 30 seconds)! Stir occasionally. Use a brush to remove any stubborn tarnish or dirt. A waste of money and also, I have no idea of ingredients **Q: Can you use Borox as the activator?** A: I don’t think this works very well, at least it didn’t for me.
