I use it on the back of my truck. I appreciate that the bike rack come with a hitch clamp. This keeps the rack from wiggling around in the hitch when driving. Our bikes fit nicely on this rack and are secure. The rack also comes with an extra strap. One thing I will ad is this. I see in reviews some of the rubber straps were breaking. What I did was spray silicone to the hole in the strap and the small post the strap goes over. This helped tremendously when clamping the straps down. This has helped me to not have to struggle strapping the bikes down. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 💪 *by J***Z on August 19, 2026* heavy duty very satisfied handle 2 bikes easily ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Requires strength to secure bikes *by K***N on September 6, 2026* Like most items, this is designed for men. The strength needed to tighten and loosen the bolts means that I can not take it apart (I am a 105 lb woman). I replaced the bolt that goes through the hitch with a hitch pin, so I can at least take it on and off the hitch. And the tabs used to secure the bike are too difficult for me; I have to use a tool to get them secured. But it does fully function to carry the bikes. ## Frequently Bought Together - 3 Bike Rack Bicycle Carrier Racks Hitch Mount Double Foldable Rack for Cars Truck SUV Fits 2" Receiver, Including Anti-Rattle Hitch Tightener & Bicycle Cross-bar Adapter for Kid’s Bike - Retrospec Bike Rack Cross-Bar Top Tube Adjustable Adapter --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/537669750-3-bike-hitch-mount-foldable-bicycle-carrier-fits-2-receiver](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/537669750-3-bike-hitch-mount-foldable-bicycle-carrier-fits-2-receiver) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
