Review: Essential for those starting, or on a PGCE course - I have spent the last couple of months feeling incredibly anxious about my PGCE starting in September. I am now kicking myself that I didn't buy this book sooner! Everything I felt uncertain about, is explained in this book. It has calmed me down massively and even although I am still very nervous, I feel I've had a lot of questions answered about the course and most importantly, how to survive it! It is very up to date, and Tim Handley obviously knows exactly how new Teacher Trainees will be feeling. The book is written concisely and is nice and easy just to flick through every now and again, which I find very useful. I'd recommend this for anyone starting, or currently on a PGCE course- it will really start to put your mind at rest if you, like me, are feeling a little shaky about it all. Absolutely love it :D

perfect book to read and exactly like reviews had said. very quirky and great for giving you an idea of what to expect next year, keeping mine to refer to during the course. Would note it is a4 size, much bigger than I thought but still worth it.
